The problem I had was after assembling the unit with the new bulb I had a hard time placing it back in the tv and aligning the connector up. In the TV the connector is offset to the right a little. So the little plastic piece that holds the connector fell out and it matters which way it goes back in or the connector will not align correctly when putting it back in the tv.

There is a safety switch in the cabinet that the cover has engage in order for the t.v. to come back on.

Bulb arrived in a few days. I was able to remove and install the bulb myself in nearly 20 min. following your steps. Very easy to follow…very detailed. Covered everything I stumbled upon.

You’ll need a 120W lamp, size E23. It’s the big round lamp.

Is it the terminal bracket on the lamp? You’ll need that and it’ll be on the replacement lamp. If it’s that metal piece though, you’ll probably need a new enclosure–they don’t sell just that one piece anywhere. It’s fairly inexpensive (10-20 bucks more for the enclosure).
