Good guide, relatively painless process. The problem I had was after assembling the unit with the new bulb I had a hard time placing it back in the tv and aligning the connector up. In the TV the connector is offset to the right a little. So the little plastic piece that holds the connector fell out and it matters which way it goes back in or the connector will not align correctly when putting it back in the tv.

Reida,

Is it the terminal bracket on the lamp? You'll need that and it'll be on the replacement lamp. If it's that metal piece though, you'll probably need a new enclosure--they don't sell just that one piece anywhere. It's fairly inexpensive (10-20 bucks more for the enclosure).
