The Sony BRAVIA KDL40V2500 is a 40” Wide screen High Definition TV from Sony. It has an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a contrast ratio of 1300:1. The native resolution of the KDL40V2500 is 1920 x 1080. It provides an extremely wide viewing angle of 178 degrees, one of the best available. It supports NTSC and ATSC video modes in 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p_60 video formats.     There is a plaid screen, when the Verizon Fios is turned on there is
    a dingy (like when a pebble hits the glass on your car) that has red &
    green parallel lines that lead up to this on the left hand side of the
    television.The dingy is a little over half way on the left side of the tv,
