The Samsung HLR6167W is a 61” Widescreen High definition TV from Samsung. It has a native resolution of 1280 x 720. It has an aspect ratio of 16:9, a contrast ratio of 2500:1 and a brightness measure of 600 cd/m2. It uses the DLP light engine for display, and supports the NTSC and ATSC colour systems in various video modes such as 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i.
The Samsung HLR6167W has a host of input connectors, both at the back and front. At the back, it has 2 sets of component HD connectors, a CableCard port, 2 Firewire ports, a DVI input port, a 1/8” mini headphone jack, a HDMI connector, a Co-Ax tuner port, 2 sets of RGB PCV ports, 2 sets of 4 pin DIN S-Video ports and 2 sets of Composite input connectors. In the front, it has another 4 pin DIN S-Video port and a set Composite RCA input connector.
The bezel is usually black in colour, and the Samsung HLR6167W needs a power supply of 110V – 120V. It consumes 230 Watts of power. It’s dimensions without the stand or speakers are 56.9″ x 41.6″ x 18.4″, and it weighs approximately 95lbs.

My DLP Samsung HLR5667W starts to warm up with a picture , then blacks out with no picture . Just have sound at this point and cannot turn off power with the remote, have to pull the power plug to shut down . Does this sound like my problem is the lamp ? I still have a current lamp warranty .
