Color Wheel replacement question:

Does anyone know if this humming/ spinning symptoms are the same with the Samsung HL-P5085W series? I have that same situation where I’ve just replaced the lamp for the 1st time since Sept 2004. The lamp worked pretty good for about 2 weeks but now the set won’t go on upon start up…giving a spinning/humming noise with the SMILIE symbol trying to stay on, but fails and returns to the Defective Lamp symbol. I can on some occasion get the set to go on, only if I unplug the TV a number of hours and start cold…not from the stand-by mode.

Any advise?
