Just last month my TV’s lamp went out and I bought a new one from ***. I installed it and the TV had been working beautifully until last weekend. Now, it’s back to being problematic. If I turn the TV on the lamp will fire up and I’ll get a picture for about 10 seconds before it goes black, the audio will stay for about another 5 seconds, and then it will completely shut off. I’ve been doing a lot of research and am not sure what’s going on here. Could the lamp possibly be faulty? Do I need a new ballast? I don’t have any sounds that indicate color wheel or fan problems. Please help!
