      Hi Reggie,

Press the decrease volume button on the remote first, followed by the increase volume button.
The LED light will blink green when the lamp hour has been reset.

      Using the menu:
      Open the MAIN menu.
Navigate to the SETTINGS menu. Press SELECT.
Scroll down to the SERVICE menu option. Press SELECT.
Scroll down to the LAMP RESET option. Press SELECT.

Let me know if this helps.

I have a ASK Proxima C1560-180 projector and would like to buy a new lamp. I found ones that are “lamp only” and “lamp with housing”.
Is there some reason I need to purchase a new housing?
Also you post says that we should only buy an original lamp, not generic. When you click on that link you get a discount merchant that offers an off brand and a Phillips brand. Is Phillips considered the Original?

    • avatar Shelagh McNally says:

      Hi Phyllis,
Phillips is the original brand. Discount Merchant only sells Philips brands, which they manufacture themselves in North America. They have been approved by Philips so anything you buy from them will be good. You don’t need to purchase a new housing, you can replace just the lamp. However, you will need to remove the old lamp from the old housing and replace the new bulb inside. Some people find this challenging and worry about doing it perfectly so everything fits back into the projector. ASK Proxima has fairly straightforward lamps so it shouldn’t be too challenging. If you want to just do a plug and play then buy the whole lamp housing. Let me know how everything turns out.
      Cheers,
      Shelagh
