    Hello there
I can not do the procedure because the EMP-83H systematically put it in default.
Power is on, the power indicator turns worm, t properly lit the lamp three seconds and apareille goes into default.
No time to do the procedure.
    Best regards
    Christian Bouyer.

je ne peux pas faire la procedure ,car le EMP-83H ce mets systematiquement en defaut.
Power sur on, le voyant power passe au ver,t la lampe s allume correctement 3 secondes et l apareille passe en defaut.
Pas le temps de faire la procedure.
    Bien Cordialement
    Christian Bouyer.

      Hi Christian,
Have you changed the lamp? If it’s gone past its lamp life hours, the projector will sense this and just go into standby. If you have replaced the lamp, then you need to reset the lamp timer. However, if you have already replaced the lamp, then try reinstalling the lamp to make sure all the connections are good. I think it would be good if you joined our forum ( where there are many experts that can look at your problem and offer some solutions. Please let me know how things are progressing.

      Hi Christina,
I asked one of our technicians about your questions and below is her reply:
Hello, I am assuming you want to reset the lamp hour timer on your projector but it is not powering on long enough for you to do so? Assuming you did replace this with an OEM EMP-83H preferably with a Philips brand lamp, this might be a ballast issue. Please be careful where you purchase new lamps, some use generic bulbs and have a high defect rate.
