On my projector, after fully loosening the two screws, no amount of jiggling or pulling will allow the bulb to be removed. The screws are fully loose, but something is holding the bulb in. Any suggestions here?

      Hi Jason,
Is there another screw on the lamp? Sometimes this model was made with three screws instead of two. It may be that the color wheel is damaged and bent against the lamp holding it in place. That does happen occasionally and it a more complex problem to fix. There is a thread on our forum about this problem altho it was originally with a TV lamp.http://www.fixyourdlp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=637. Is the projector under warranty? You may ask about getting it replaced. However if the previous lamp was a counterfeit or generic lamp, your warranty may be voided. I will ask one of your experts for more advice and get back to you.
      Regards,
      Shelagh
