Hi Jack,
You can only reset the lamp timer if a new lamp has been correctly installed. If you replaced the lamp and the projector is not turning on or the lamp reset is not available it means the install was not successful. Try re-installing the lamp, making sure all the connections are tight and the projector lamp cover has been out back properly. If none of that works, it might be the new lamp you have installed. If it's a generic or counterfeit then the projector may not be able to work with it. Try the install first and see if that works.
Regards,

Hi Rob,
Check that the screws are secure on both the lamp and the lamp cover. Did you reset the lamp timer? That signals the projector to start working again. Did you buy an original OEM lamp? Sometimes counterfeits can damage the optics and your projector will stop working. I suggest joining our forum for more help.\
Cheers,

I changed my bulb, but it does not light up. I put the old one back in and now it does not light either. I am an electrician, so I'm sure I did everything correctly. I also know this is an older projector, I'd still rather not replace it if this is a simple problem
