It&#039;s usually one of two things when this happens:
1. Have you reset the lamp timer to zero. This is the final step of installing a new lamp and a lot of people forget to do this. If you haven&#039;t reset the lamp timer then the projector thinks it&#039;s still using the bad lamp that has reach end of life and the projector will keep shutting down to self protect. 
2. The lamp is not an OEM lamp and hasn&#039;t been properly calibrated so the projector can&#039;t read it. If you bought the lamp at a very low price then chances are it&#039;s counterfeit. Try re-installing the lamp once more, checking to make sure all the connections are good and that the lamp cover is properly screwed on. If this doesn&#039;t work, then chances are it&#039;s the actual lamp. Ask for a refund and buy direct from the manufacturer. Hope this helps. Good luck.
