Algunas producciones de TV- DLP Samsung utilizaron 2 tipos de Color wheel en el ensamblado del sistema optico , un color wheel con giro a base de balero/BP900674A ( "embalado " ) y otro con sistema de suspension de aire.

Aunque ambos color wheel’s son del mismo diametro y muy similares estos no son compatibles entre si y no se pueden intercambiar.

La unica manera de intercambio entre ambos es utilizandolos en conjunto con sus receptaculos originales y observando las siguientes condiciones:

1.- Si requiere utilizar el color wheel BP900674A / "montado en su receptaculo original" , en un televisor que tiene un color wheel de suspension de aire, debera poner en corto los pines del conector CN810.

2.- Por el contrario si requiere utilizar el conjunto de color wheel / Aire , en un televisor que tiene un color wheel /"embalado" , entonces debera retirar el corto de los pines del conector CN810.

En conclusion :

A: Color Wheel/ "Embalado" : los pines del conector CN810 deberan estar en corto.

B: Color Wheel/Aire : los pines del conector CN810 deberan estar abiertos.

El color wheel embalado # parte : BP900674A , BP67-0099A , lo puede reemplazar en caso de rotura o falla , utilizando su receptaculo original.

• Generic lamps sold online by a number of vendors today should be considered counterfeit when sellers deliberately mislead consumers with claims to "OEM" or "Genuine Original" when in fact the are knock offs. There are many of these generic lamp e-tailers popping up daily… it’s a disease that needs to be stopped! We will show you the questions to ask and how to confirm you are receiving a genuine product!
• Brand name lamps, marketed and sold, again, as the “original” lamp for your particular TV. Just because an aftermarket lamp has a brand name stamped on it does not qualify it as an original part number for your TV. Your television was engineered with consideration from the ORIGINAL lamp supplier and the TV manufacturer. Engineers from both companies worked hand in hand to fine tune your picture. What does all this mean?

EXAMPLE: lets use for example a Samsung DLP TV, model HLS4666W TV. The original lamp part number is BP96-01472A. This part, when purchased directly from Samsung at about $199.99 includes the plastic case (sometimes referred to as the enclosure, assembly, housing, etc.) and the actual lamp. The lamp this TV originally shipped with out of Samsung’s factory was manufactured by Philips. The replacement part number BP96-01472A shipped from the Samsung Parts Factory is also a Philips. There are vendors out there that claim to sell the original lamp for your TV at deep discounted prices… this is a sign something is not right.

• The competition is hot and it’s only heating up higher. Generic companies are trying to figure out ways to gain a piece of the market share and there is nothing they will not consider to get it! As are copies of brand name sunglasses, watches, purses, and so forth, copycats have realized the market potential of replacement lamps (more on this below). What’s stopping a third party lamp manufacture from stamping “Philips” on their lamps and introducing them into the marketplace? Nothing really. Philips doesn’t have a world police as every dock examining every product that’s shipping off international ports. If the clothing industry cannot prevent fraud and copycats I would imagine lamps would have similar problems. All the more reason to purchase lamps from authorized and legitimate distributors, not just a fly-by-night company with the best price working out of their garage importing generic product!

Where do these bogus vendors sell?

• eBay is a common breeding ground…as are fly-by-night brand-spankin’ new ecommerce stores. They claim to ship you original parts at deep discounted prices, often times over $100 less than the manufacturer! For a part that retails less than $200, something is wrong when an e-tailers claims this folks, watch out.
• Heavy marketers – some of these fly-by-night merchants are investing literally thousands of dollars a day on advertising [to be blunt] their crappy merchandise. And they really do need these advertising campaigns to trick uninformed consumers into their scams. There are third party lamp manufacturers that are insisting to sell original lamp by marketing them as OEM. This is a lie and deceitful!

Why do consumers need to be wary of these third-party and counterfeit products?

• Rear Projection TV’s (RPTVs) were manufactured by collaboration efforts between many different companies. Texas Instruments (TI) was instrumental in creating the DLP Technology and the DLP chip that spawned this revolution of TVs and Projectors. Philips has been a huge part of the movement as the inventor of the UHP lamp technology used across the world today. With these two main partners are the OEM product manufactures, such as Samsung, Sony, Toshiba, Panasonic, etc. It is collaboration through these companies that resulted in RPTV and Front Projection (FT) projectors.

As this is the case, these companies have spent countless hours perfecting their innovations to work together seamlessly. These companies have spent millions upon millions of dollars on Research and Development (R&D) to not only created and perfect their technologies, but to mesh all the this technology together.

When a third-party manufacture enters the marketplace, there are a lot of disadvantages at play…and that is a whole other discussion there…

• Often times third-party products (including lamps) can VOID your manufacturer’s warranty and lead to premature failure of other components inside your TV set! Your DLP is “driven” or powered on by a “lamp driver” or a “ballast” This ballast has been engineered as the bridge between the TV manufacturer (Samsung for example) and the lamp manufacturer (Philips for example). To ensure proper ignition, continuous voltage, and a healthy long life, the ballast and lamp are matched together.
• With a generic or third-party lamp, you are committing yourself to buying an inferior product! Spending $5, $10, or $15 extra on an original part versus a generic/third-party should be a no-brainer when you’ve got a lot more to lose than a few bucks! More on this to come, this has already become longer than it should be.

What should consumers do to protect themselves?

• Always buy from reputable, AUTHORIZED dealers.
• Check to see how long the company has been in business.
• Check affiliations
• Compare pricing with competitors (if you see a vendor that’s extremely cheap, but has limited quantity, that’s a red flag)
• Call the company to check them out and ask questions

Cambio de Lampara

Para este reemplazo necesitas:

1 destornillador Philips(de cruz) 1 pinzas de punta y 1 desarmador plano chico.

Apoyo visual mediante fotografias (Puedes agrandar las fotografias dando click sobre ellas)

AVISO IMPORTANTE : El reemplazo de la lampara Original Osram , por la equivalente Osram, esta no tiene ahumento en la parte frontal de la lampara , lo cual no afecta en nada su funcionamiento ni su luminosidad

1.- Quitar cubierta del portalampara 51.l6826, alzando cuidadosamente con un desarmador , los seguros de la cubierta que van en la ranuras de sujecion de la Base del portalamparas 8091A631087867 jalandola hacia arriba , para destrabarla.

2.- Retirar tornillo y tuerca de los bornes de la lampara y liberar los cables a la lampara P-vip132-150 /1.0 ASP

3.- Retira (1) tornillo y el clip de sujecion Base portalamparas 8091A631087867

4.- Aflojar (2) tornillos de los clips de sujecion de Base portalamparas 8091A631087867 y retirar la lampara P-vip132-150 /1.0ASP , alzandola un poco y jalandola hacia afuera .

A.- Poner la lampara P-vip132-150 / 1.0ASP nueva , introduciendola un poco inclinada a modo que se quede entre en los (2) clips de sujecion del portalampara 8091A631087867

B.- Reinsertar tornillo y clip de sujecion de la lampara P-vip132-150 /1.0ASP y apretar.observar posicion del clip coincida con ranura

C.- Fijar los cables, con la tuerca y tornillo en los bornes de la lampara P-vip132-150 /1.0ASP y apretar firmamente

Quedando armada nuevamente la Lampara osram P-vip 132-150/1.0ASP en su Base portalampara 8091A631087867

D.- Reinstalar la cubierta 51.l6826, alineandola hacia los seguros de sujecion y empujandola firmemente hasta su reinsercion en las ranuras correspondientes

Al intentar sustituir de lampara , para el portalamparas Mitsubishi 915P061A10 me encontre que las lamparas son casi iguales , pero al tratar de instalarla no fue facil ya que en apariencia fisica asi se ven y esto fue lo que encontre:

Lampara original : la terminacion es de forma mas cuadrada en sus orillas y mas delgada en lo alto donde se fija con la base del portalamparas .

Lampara reemplazo: su terminacion es esferica y un poco mas grande y su orilla mas gruesa.

En esta serie de fotografias te muestro estas diferencias .

Para poder instalar la lampara me genero problemas que se solucionaron haciendo uso del Dremmel para efectuarle un rebaje en los 4 bornes internos y poner tornillos del mismo grueso pero mas largos para poder fijarla la lampra en su sitio.

Finalmente quedo solucionado el problema , pero considerando que este no es un trabajo facil me contacte con la gente de DM para ve si ellos tenian un Portalamparas para este tipo de lampara y su repuesta fue bastante alagadora ya que estan por sacar al mercado un portalamparas equivalente para esta lampara e instarla sin ningun trabajo extra , asi que estaremos pendientes.

Reemplazo de lampara o foco original , por un Philips UHP 132/120 w 1.0 de Nueva Generacion

Comentario: La intencion de la presente guia es solo mostrarles que facil es reemplazar la lampara

Ud.requiere para este reemplazo : pinzas de punta , desarmador Philips (de cruz) y desarmador chico plano.

Apoyo visual mediante la siguiente secuencia de fotografias , si desea agrandarlas , dar click sobre la fotografia deseada.

1.-) Retirar con las pinzas de punta , el extremo del seguro de acero fija-lampara o foco, sacandolo de su cavidad , enseguida en el otro extremo del seguro de acero , sacar el gancho de la cavidad para poder retirarlo.

2.-) Quitar los (2) clips-sujetadores del portalamparas empujandolos con el desarmador chico plano.

3.-) Quitar el tornillo y tuerca de los bornes de la lampara, para desconectar los cables.

4.-) Conectar nuevamente los cables en los bornes de su nueva lampara Philips uhp132/120 w 1.0 conectando primero el cable corto, despues el cable largo y apretando firmenente el tornillo y tuerca.

A.-) Poner su foco y/o lampara nueva Philips uhp132/120w 1.0 dentro del Portalamparas PPS-GF-40 y enseguida pasar el clip fija-lampara entre la cabidad correspondiente,siguiendo la secuencia de fotos a fin de fijar correctamente el Seguro de Acero.

B.-) Con el gancho en su posicion enseguida pasaremos a fijar el otro extremo del seguro de acero fija-lampara , empujando el extremo del seguro pasandolo sobre el tornillo y este a su vez tomara su posicion final debajo del tornillo y en su cabidad .

C.-) Con este cambio de lampara nueva Philips uhp132/120w 1.0 como notara , ya no utilizaremos los clips sujeta-lampara , quedando lista y rearmada nuevamente.
