DLP Lamp Disposal & Recylcing bulbs
What is everyone doing with their old lamps and cages? I don't think it's safe to throw these away since the UHP lamps contain Mercury. I know Kragen and AutoZone don't want my lamp! ;)

DLP lamp replacement troubles - Anyone else?
Anyone having problem fitting a new lamp in their Hitachi Enclosure? Discount-Merchant.com says I need to remove the little insert from inside the lamp assembly and not use it? Is this accurate?

Can someone post the replacement guide TY-LA1000
Can someone put this online. It looks pretty complicated to change out the lamp myself. Lots of screws and I don't know if these are torx, hex, or regular Philips. On another forum I read you need to cut some wires or something to get the replacement lamp in? Isn't that dangerous?

Bulb life on my JVC D-ILA HD-52Z585 TV?
Does anyone know how to determine the bulb life on a HD-52Z585? The Self check method does not have any hex numbers to the bottome left and my D070 register is all zeros. My D071 register does change, but the formula for determining hours does not seem to be correct. I have the TS-CL110UAA part numb...
