My new Samsung plasma is able to play movies VIA USB.

So i was wondering can i hook a external USB hard drive up to it, to play movies?

Wondering before i go out and buy a hard drive.

Im debating on putting it online to sell it someone could use parts or fix it.

Sad thing tv has been barely used, i never watch tv.

I have taken the color wheel out it looks fine spins fine no noise.

Id there a way to test the ballast at all? Besides swapping in another one?

Hard to describe the clicking noise, its clicks the exact same time every time, this making me think its color wheel cause its spinning. But no other noise besides a click...click...click

Have tried numerous times, just get a clicking sound. Just dont want to buy part yet as whatever one i buy it will be wrong one. Little stuck on this one.

Anyone?
