No it doesn't seem to affect the menu. I took apart the entire optical path to look at all the components (mostly mirrors and stuff) looking for a color wheel which I did not find. Anyone have experience with a yellowish glow?
I have a Zenith Model: M52W56LCD
It is a combination DLP/LCD but has a yellow glow in the center of the screen. Also the color is mostly a blue tint.
Doesn't seem to have a color wheel and the lamp is working, but maybe it is too old?
