tv just fired up and for about 2 mins, had a perfect pic and remote allowed me to get into user menu. then screen lost all bright colors but pic still on, just real dark and tv would not respond to any commands from the remote nor would it turn off via remote. have to unplug. any ideas which part co...

update: tv just fired up after several power cycles. pic was great for a few mins, even on HD. switched back to reg channel and green color shadowing most of pic. no remote response as well. component1 in upper left corner and wont disappear. still on after 10 mins.
any ideas?
