Re: NEW Bulb- still not working

Thanks so much for responding to my dilema. Yes the switch is taped as you suggested a few threads ago. I have purchased a second ballast just to try to eliminate that issue. I get the same response with no lamp lighting. Incidently, the output voltage to he lamp is a mere 7.86vdc as measured direct...

Re: New Lamp Doesn't Turn On? Try This!

I have ordered a new ballast although the current one has less than two hours on it. This due to having only 5.65vdc measured at the output to the lamp. I wi...

Re: New Lamp Doesn't Turn On? Try This!

No I have not learned anything new about this. I have a difficult time thinking that at least one person on this forum has hasn't figured out the problem though. It just seems to be such a common occurance that someone should have figured it out by now. If you know of the location of a schematic, I ...

Re: New Lamp Doesn't Turn On? Try This!

It sounds as if this lamp out, ballast bad and color wheel shattering are all very common with these Samsungs. I am sufferin through the same woes. I have replaced everything and the unit worked fine for a couple weeks but now the lamp will not turn on. I do not get the clicking sound out of the bal...
