Thanks a ton guys, I got the new lamp in and it looks better than ever :D . I am kinda waiting for it to explode again :? . I have tried to reset the counter using the mute182power, and the menu182power, neither seem to work. It does seem like something is going on when I hit power, but nothing come...

Thanks jonrot, so when I receive my new lamp, should I put it in, or will it shatter like the the last one?should I order a ballast? Is the a way for me to tell if mine has gone bad?

Got it out, and found the lamp shattered, gonna buy a new one and see what happens.

I am in the process of trying to get to the lamp. Do you really have to take apart the entire tv?
