I ordered a lamp and ballast. I replaced the ballast frist and the lamp lit up. Pic was a little dark and contrast had been turned up most all the way. After getting ZERO help here I figured it was a ballast issue. I bought a ballast and a new lamp and installed the new ballast and the original lamp lite right up and the picture came but was a little dim. At least I know the real problem was the ballast. As in the title, I have that Samsung. It will not turn on but the lamp tries to fire. It repidly flashes for a few seconds (10 secs or so) then stops for 15-20 seconds before it starts agian. Hi all. I was given a Samsung HL67A510 67" DLP TV. It is about 3 years old and has problems. So I am going to be trying to find out what that problems/s is and if it is worth trying to fix. Looking forward to learning and sharing what I learn.
