There's pieces of tape or something on the edge of the mirror. Perhaps those are shims used to gently warp the mirror to correct for issues with the plastic housing where it rests? I'd expect that over time the plastic might sag. Main issue is with the overscan. Still need to get a DVI to HDMI cable...
