Thanks for the suggestion, but I did successfully reset the timer shortly after installing the new lamp. Any other ideas?

The display on my screen has become noticibly dim. Everything has a washed out look, or like I'm viewing the screen through fog. I figured it may be the lamp and replaced it. I used a Phillips not a generic bulb, but this had no effect. All of the display settings are at their normal settings, so no...
