So, after taking the lamp out, holding the door switch and watching the inside during the 3 attempt cycles, the color wheel spins beautifully. After reading a few hundred posts.....lol......it seems like it could also be the Color wheel. However, if the color wheel is near it's end would it come on and stay on with a perfect picture once I'm able to get the TV to cycle on?

So I went out on a limb and assumed that my problem is most likely the ballast. I ordered it from DM and am waiting for it's arrival. Hopefully this will alleviate my problem!
