Re: FOR EVERYONE WITH A BROKEN GAME CONSOLE

I did this to my older PS3 I purchased on the release date (20GB no Wi-Fi). With just a heat gun and some PC board heat conducting gel and it worked perfectly after. On youtube you can also find how to upgrade the memory on this 1st gen PS3. I upgraded the memory to 250 GB! back playing Metal Gear S...

Hello,

wow ok so judging from th B&W portion of your post then the fail to ignite it sounds like a sure colorwheel fail. Just to rule out a digital video board being fried from the faulty box and rigged hookup, have you tried some sort of factory reset?

Hello! Hello curlyjoe99, Hmm the fan might not be getting the power it needs.. If both fans appeared to turn slower, this might let the lamp compartment get too hot and trip the thermostat, or maybe this is the exhaust speed compared to the inlet. This lamp lasted a long time so my first recomendation woul...

Hello,
If you are getting no image just a blue screen I would first double check every input, if the DMD board fails it can cause this image malfunction, so I would make sure its not a simple input mistake first!
Hope this helps.

If you have this exact model, then you have to remove the entire front panel beneath the screen (uncovering the speakers). It snaps off... and there you will find the lamp door cover, make sure to fit the lamp in properly!

Yes you should be able to find an input board online and find that installation is no problem! as long as the screen is not damaged in an LCD it should work fine!

Go to advanced search
