hello,
99% of the time these symptoms are caused by a ballast (if you have a new lamp in your tv).
If your lamp has been in your tv for around a year or it seems burnt, fogged or damaged, this might eb eindicating you need a new lamp.
hope this helps!

if the colors are off your jumper either needs to be set or removed, (a jumper is basically a plug with conducting material like metal or copper) that establishes connection between to pins.

Hello,
in any other case I would advice changing the lamp first but since you mention it wants to power up and fails, then you can hear the bearing, I think the colorwheel is bad and needs replacing. I am almost sure the colorwheel is preventing the tv to boot up.
hope this helps.

Hello,
good news is since there is no image distortion you can narrow this down to a ballast or lamp, and since it has been a while im thinking theres a 90% chance this is just a lamp issue, but with another 2 or 3 lamps changes it will need a ballast change..
Hope this helps

hello jimmy,
I agree, it might be a bit of both. If the lamp has not been changed in over a year I'm thinking its most likely the lamp, however if you recently replaced the lamp with an original lamp, judging by the spark on the ballast, I think it might be time to change your ballast.

Hello, this can be a simple input problem, if the buttons on the front are part of the board with the IR sensor for the remote (about 14 to 25$).
