The wattage of the ballast needs to be in the range of wattage of the bulb, if you have a 120W ballast you can use a 120/132W bulb, but not if you have a 100W ballast. Re: Samsung R67-68W does not turn on

Well, I just can see 3 possibilities: 1. You have a very very very bad luck and got two defective color wheels. 2. You're not installing the new color wheels correctly (and for some reason you're installing correctly the old one). 3. The diameter of the new color wheel is bigger than the diameter of...

Re: Samsung R67-68W does not turn on

I think it's weird that your old color wheel doesn't have a gasket, maybe you're removing the color wheel and the gasket still in the TV, so when you're putting the new one you have two gaskets and the color wheel is not seated properly.

This is just an idea.

The noise depends on the type of damage the color wheel has. It could be broken in pieces or maybe it just has problems to spin properly.

Re: changed analog board-->now no sound/imput sour

I think the problem couldn't be somewhere else, if that was the case the "green/pink/white horizontal lines" problem wouldn't be fixed. So I think the analog board is what you needed.

Are you sure the replacement board is exactly the same as the old one?

The best thing you can do is remove the back cover and track the noise, so you can be sure where is the problem.

You can stop the fans with a finger and check if one of them is producing the noise.
