You are going to need the owners manual for this one, since you are going to have to go into the settings menu and "activate" the tuner input, this is veryyy common in Philips LCD TVs too.

This can be your digital video board or your DMD board, an easy way to trouble shoot is to try an analog input like coaxial or component vs a digital DVI or HDMI input, if you do not receive any distortion with a digital input, then I would put my money on the digital video board!

Did you recently replace this lamp? if so, then I think you might have a weak ballast (as this is also a consumable part) and like every RPTV, it might be time to replace it.

I would double check the conection, was this recently replaced? if it has 3 wires to power it can be that it is not installed correctly. Also if your TV has low ventilation or your thermostat inside the tv is malfunctioning this will cause the Fan to remain on.
