Well, usually the OSRAM bulbs are not that bad, but definitely Philips bulbs are the best in the market. It could be that you had a Philips bulb and now you have an OSRAM, this way you should notice a lower quality brightness.

Well, if you can see the lamp seated properly across the front hole of the housing then I don't think your issue is with the alignment.
Have you tried to adjust the brightness on the menu?

Hi steven.
The problem you have is most probably a ballast issue. When this device fails you hear a clicking noise every time is trying to turn the lamp on, just as you described. Replacing it should solve your problem.

Yes it could be. Usually the way the TV realizes that needs a new lamp is by the lamp hours meter, but if the lamp expires before the expected life span then it's probable than the TV doesn't turn the lamp led on. To be honest this is just a supposition since I don't know exactly how this "lamp...

Hi ediaz. Ok, it definitely seems that you need a new DMD board, it will fix the freezing problem. About the lines I'm not sure, since that problem could also be produced by the digital board. Hi again. Well, as far as I know the DMD chip isn't sold separately, you need to buy the whole board. However I wouldn't buy the DMD chip alone, I run the risk of getting a not compatible part. Hi ranman. The problem is not with your color wheel. If your color wheel was stuck then the DMD would turn Off the TV.
