Samsung HLR4667W Colorwheel problem

Postby dave51 » Thu Apr 07, 2011 10:24 pm

I replaced the colorwheel and now the TV will not power on. The lamp is less than a month old. When the power is turned on the lamp light blinks but I cannot see the lamp burning in the back of the set. It clicks and cycles through again then the three lights on the front blink like the lamp is bad. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hello Dave,
This sounds like a text book ballast issue :geek: (you can read multiple post for malfunctioning ballasts in Samsungs here on this forum) :x I would try replacing that, if you did the colorwheel work yourself, exchanging the ballast will be a walk in the park, see below for a sample guide!

Also you can purchase one here on the cheap ;)

Hope this helps :P
