So the other day my Samsung TV would not come on. The green lamp light flashes for a few seconds then the standby temp light starts flashing. No image appears at any point but I can hear some fans firing up, not any louder than normal though. I did a little research and apparently this means I need to clean the rear ventilation hole. I cleaned out all the little vent covers with some compressed air as well as the bulb and the bulb casing. Is there any other place that I would need to clean that I am skipping? There is a large circular cover on the back that I am not sure how to remove but it does not look like a vent hole as it is entirely enclosed.
Lastly my lamp model is bp63-00800a but I cannot seem to find any lamp that fits that product description. Lots of lamps come up with the BP96 code though am I missing something here?
