I hope someone can help me. for the past couple of weeks the volume will just turn itself off and then back on again. this could happen for up to 45 seconds and happens multiple times while watching TV. I have to turn the tv off then back on for the volume to come back on again.
I have a Samsung DLP tv..
anyone have any suggestions on what could be causing this and how much it might be to fix?

I'm also new in this type of Forum. I have the same problem with my TV, and I wonder if anybody had answered your post or if you got the answer? I had fixed and reset the lamp counter in my Samsung HL56A650C1FXZA thanks to other Posts.
Our TVs have a Thermal problem, but I don't have any schematics or manual to troubleshoot the problem. After several hrs of TV the sound stop for a couple seconds and start again for about 2 or 3 minutes and then it stop again. Is Discount Merchant a good source for Samsung parts? I read in other post to buy original Samsung parts.
