someone broke into house and tried to steal tv,now the temp/stand by light comes on right after power up and the set turns off and will not respond,the light stays blinking though,any help is greatly appreciated.

that's so bad :x , well in this case it could be that when they tried to move the tv they loose the lamp or lamp door check if everything is well conected like the enclosure all the way down and properly connected and also the lamp door it has a killswitch this means that if is the door is not closed properly it doenst turn on, hope this info can help you :ugeek:

i have checked the door and lamp have not replaced lamp yet,set was working fine until knuckleheads got to it.
