Our Samsung HL50a 650 is stuck in the menu mode. It keeps scrolling through the menu on it's own. We have unplugged the TV. We have talked to Customer Service.(What a joke) We have tried the mute 1 8 2 power, but it does not respond to this. It has done this once before about 6 months ago and we were able to get it out of this funk by using the buttons on the side of the TV. Can't get this to work this time.
Anyone have a clue as to what is wrong with our TV. Thanks.

There is two probabilities, one that a button on a remote or TV set got stuck thus preventing the TV from receiving another signal, or that the software on the Digital video board is corrupt, and will need resetting. In order to do such a thing you will need to pres a small round button located on the actual board, near the processor & memory slots.
