Hi guys this is my first post.

I have a HLS6187WX that the sound cuts out after a few minutes of being on. When it first started happening it would cut out and come back on. but gradually over time its gotten worse. Its so bad that now that when the TVs on for 5 mins the sound gets so low I have to turn it up to 70 or 80 just to here it.

Could this be a fimware issue?

Or do I have to replace speakers?

Is anyone else having this problem?

When I went into replace the lamp I didn't see any burnt electronics.. can you advise me where to look on the main board?

sound works fine on external speakers via optical output and RCA output
