I have shadowing on my Samsung DLP HLN507W.

The TV sat dormant for 4 years. It's approximately 11 years old.

Is the TV worth fixing?

Hello,

The problem is more likely the light engine. These are getting harder to find but you should still able to find one either on Discount Merchant.com or Ebay. They're more likely used and go for about $200. It's recommended for a technician to do this kind of installation although installation guide videos are usually available on youtube.
