Need Help with Color Wheel

I recently replaced my color wheel and plugged the tv back in. It automatically turned itself on still and still made the same noise, although not as pronounced. I did get an image at first but it was a bit washed out. After turning it off and trying to turn it on again, I get no picture. I also replaced a bulb as well.

Does anyone have any idea what I may have forgotten to do? I don't get why the noise persists and the bulb doesn't even come on now.

Hey there dark, might be dumb question was color wheel new or used? How did the old color wheel look? If old color wheel was good as far as not coming apart what does sound. sound like and is it a vibrating type sound?
