Samsung DLP - screen and display panel go black
I have a Samsung DLP tv, model hlp5685. It turns on ok and the screen and digital display panel lights up and works. After 15 or so minutes, the screen and display go black but the sound continues. If you unplug it and plug back in, its fine again for the 15 minutes. Does this sound like a lamp or ballast? or otherwise?

Hi I have the same symptoms with my HLR 4667.
About two months ago, I replaced the lamp. A couple of weeks later, the color wheel shattered, and I replaced that. The TV worked great for about two weeks, and then the screen started going black, but sound would remain. When I power it down with the remote and wait a few minutes or unplug it, the picture will come back for a while (5-15 minutes) and then go back to black. I have sound. I have already tried resetting the lamp timer to no avail.
One other import symptom: when the picture goes black, the timer light flashes. Also, this occurs for any input (HDMI, OTA, Cable).
