I've troubleshot my DLP not turning on to the color wheel not spinning. (all the details are in my other post)

How do I determine if the board or the color wheel is bad?

It's hard to make that determination without the actual wheel working. I'd take the wheel out first then spin it. If it's not spinning correctly, or you hear winding sounds then your wheel is the culprit. Chances are, the wheel is what's bad, not the DMD board.
