I replaced my DLP lamp after 6600 hours. I reset the counter and now the set plays for about 10 minutes and shuts off. The red standby and green lamp led flash about 8 times. The picture is beautiful and bright until it turns itself off.
Did I do something wrong or is the lamp defective? I replaced it with the same lamp code as on the side panel.

Have you cleaned the inside of your TV? Is it still filled with dust?
If so then I would start there, you see many parts tend to overheat when there is a lot of dust. so when the sensors on the TV detect an excessive temperature reading, it will shut the TV off automatically (for safety reasons).
