Are the Samsung Service Manuals Useful???

I noticed that Samsung has a Service Manual listed on their parts site from my set for $28. I have never seen one of their service manuals to know if they contain detailed information that would allow us to repair many on the common issues, or if they are just some schematics and parts lists? Does anyine have the service manuals and if so, are they worth purchasing?
