dlp now buzzes no pic

my samsungl hlr 5067 just developed a problem. it is about 4 years old on original lamp. it had no picture just sound when I noticed it, lamp light on. turned off then back on and get the chime and a whir no lamp and a fading buzz for 2-3 secs 3 times. lamp light flashes then all three come on. Is this the color wheel or the lamp? where to buy?

Hello,
since you do not mention any discoloration or color distortion, and you are still running on an original lamp for this long. I would try the lamp first :mrgreen: , but do not keep trying to ignite the lamp this way since the arching buzz sound is from the ballast struggling to ignite a bad lamp! :shock: you do not want to damage you ballast and spend another 90$ on it! ;)
