Hey folks.

A connector has come off one of my boards and I need a donor board to desolder a 3 pin connector. It appears that samsung uses standard fan connectors and either an anolog board or sub detect board (the one that the dmd and lamp fans plug into) have these connectors. If someone has a dead one they could spare, please let me know.

Hey, check with DM. They might have some dead boards for you. I'm sure all you'd have to pay for is shipping.

Unfortunately I tried that route already. They indicate they get working sets and dismantle them so they dont have 'bad' boards. Other places have said they send most bits back for core, but these would strike me as more of a throwaway.

Looks like its just watching ebay for something cheap.
