HLN617WX/XAA faint picture
Recently, the picture on our HLN617WX/XAA has been getting faint. I had just replaced the lamp about 4 weeks ago (in which the previous one had lasted about 3 months). I've taked out and inspected the current bulb, and it seems fine. What else could this be? I've read it could be the ballast or maybe a power issue. When I initially installed the current bulb it worked fine, but it did restart itself a couple times.

I would follow the new lamp by installing a new ballast, this solves the problem 90% of the time given your symptoms. (they usually run anywhere from 60 to 80$)
