vertical lines across screen after replacing Lamp

Im new to the Board: After almost 4 yrs with no problems with my hlp5063w, the lamp eventualy blew. Given that I wasnt in need of the TV at that time I didnt bother replacing the lamp until today.(The Tv was stored in a safe dry environment and covered) I replaced it with a genuine phillips(big round type,same as came out). After replacing it and turning the unit on just to test the screen, all seemed fine. After placing it on a stand and turning it back on,connected to my satellite, all seemed fine but after a few moments a series of black, evenly spaced,vertical lines developed across the entire screen. I powered it off andremoved the satellite box, and powered up to find them still there. Everything is hooked into a protected monster jack. I also unplugged and rebooted the tv, lines are still present. Hopefully someone can let me know what causes this without it bieng a substantil repair, although from what ive read,,ive been fairly lucky with my samsung DLP Thanks ,Darrin
