HL-T5687SA no red color but also flickers/flashes

Hi, my HL-T5687SAX just lost the red color, so I believe it is the red LED, but also after 5 minutes or more the screen starts flashing/ flickering the blue and green colors. Iv'e searched all night trying to find someone who states they are having the same issue to find out what it is?

If just fixing the red LED only will the "flashing" stop also? Or is it another issue?

Need help on this one!!!

Hello,
I think when the Red LCD went out, there might have been some damage to the optical block entirely, something is overheating or is damaged and malfunctions when it reaches a certain temp... I would replace it just to be safe, I found many very cheap at www.discount-merchant.com , hope this helps :mrgreen:

you are correct your tv has an optical block that uses LCD RPTV technology ;)
