Samsung HL-R4667W

Postby LFD317 » Fri Jul 15, 2011 12:18 pm

When I power on my DLP Samsung HL-R4667W, the lamp light on the front of the display blinks until the TV times out and turns itself off. I've read through what seems like hundreds of forum threads and have watched a few dozen videos on youtube regarding repair/ troubleshooting of various models. I ordered a replacement BP96-01394A lamp which is due to come today but I'm not sure if I'm just wasting money and time with trying to replace it. I removed the back access cover and it appears the lamp is lit and although it is illuminating a blue light. Any pinpoint suggestions or recommendations as to what is going on? TV is about 4 years old and I have read the original bulb is already is well past its life expectancy already. Help!

Replaced the lamp with no positive outcome. Any ideas?
