DMD board won't come into alignment

I recently changed the dmd board on my Samsung HLS5086w. TV works but the picture is off center. I went through the process described in the service manual, loosening and physically moving the dmd board around, but the problem is that the picture still needs to go up and to the left, and I hit the stops way before the image is centered. I tried going into the service menu and moving the screen electronically but that just moves the image inside of the framed in area, doesnt move the frame itself, which is where the problem lies.

the way you describe this, is a problem I have encountered many times, It is almost always just an alignment problem with the complete light engine that was removed replaced when changing the DMD board. I would remove it once more and carefully make sure it sits properly back in place ;)
