Replace or repair light tunnel

I have a RCA Scenium HDLP50W151 with a collapsed light tunnel. The tv has worked with no problems for over 8 yrs and still has a great picture so I would like to fix rather than replace the set. Has anyone repaired the light tunnel and can it be replaced? Any all help would be greatly appreciated. Also how difficult is it to remove the light engine. Tips and trick would be welcome. TIA
