This settlement was for Toshiba TV's not RCA.... Lamps are not very expensive, they are about $100 dlls, which is not bad for about 6000-8000hrs of entertainment.
Your D50LPW134YX1 or HD50LPW134YX1 has the lamp code 265866

If you haven't change the bulb in 5 years, than most likely replacing the lamp will resolve your issue. :o
