I got this Tv from a friend . He said the bulb was blown. Plugged my VCR to see if i could get sound . No luck . Maybe I didn't plug it in correctly.The green lihgt on the front does blink. How do I tell if it is the bulb or something else.

If all it does is not turn on at all, the best and safest way to go is purchasing a new lamp and go from there...
