61" Infocus 61md10 (RCA HD61THW263) checkerboard

The DLP RP displays checkerboard when video signal is input. Without video input no image, with a single flash of light. No menu or any other display possible. Starts with small boxes then goes to wide boxes.

This is a textbook DMD board malfunction :roll:

I was told reflashing the bios may handle it. What do you think? Is it worth the try?
