WD65C9 - powers off after welcome screen

So I get home yesterday and turn on my TV. I get the blue Mits welcome screen but then it just shuts off. The green light on the front blinks while it's trying to turn on but everything just goes out. I'm getting error code 12, I've tried a different outlet in the power strip, plugging directly into the wall and leaving it unplugged overnight. Nothing seems to have worked. Since the green light doesn't blink constantly I'm hoping that it's not the capacitors or whatever the common Green Light o' Death problem is but I can't find much info online. Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!

I am sure this is an easy fix if the TV comes on, how long has it been since you changed the lamp? this can at the very worst be the ballast...
